Here are some ways that I have found peace when life was throwing curve balls at me:
1. Listen to music that soothes your soul, whatever kind that may be.
2. Be still.
3. Write in a journal without worrying about form, just let it flow.
4. Look for things to be grateful for.
5. Get out in nature with all of your senses: see it, feel it, smell it, touch it, and listen to it.
6. Smile at yourself first and then at others you see.
7. Be kind to yourself.
